Different Digivolutions

I have a question.
What are the differences between DNA; Mode Change and Elemental Digivolutions? I can understand Dark, Burst, Biomerge and Armor, but the rest seems all the same to me...

And can we choose these rather freely or are there boundaries like if the Digimon doesn´t really have a Burst Mode, we can´t use one?

Ok DNA digievolution is when two digimon combine to create a more powerful digimon a example of this is when wargreymon and metalgarurumon combine to create omnimon.

Elemental digievolution is when you digimon digivolves using an element like fire water earth. This can let you partner become a wide variety of digimon.

Mode change is when you digimon changes from a example of this is when beelzemon turns in to beelzemon bm or when gallantmon becomes gallantmon crimson mode

Oooh, so we don´t need to have all those digivolution routes... I was thinking we had to think up every of those...
